KUALA LUMPUR:Singer Ameng of popular 1990s band Spring was charged at the magistrates court here Wednesday with consuming ganja at the Sentul district police headquarters.
Ameng, 42, whose given name is Wan Aminuddin Wan Ismail, was present in court and represented by counsel Kamarulzaman Abdul Rahman.
Magistrate Zaki Asyraf Zubir fixed bail at RM3,500 with one surety and set May 27 for mention. - The Star
